R.S.V.P. on Facebook

UOHS welcomes students and the community to join in this informative and engaging discussion. This presentation will be especially relevant to students in the fields of health, allied health, medicine and social work.

OICH and DUAL work in the community to provide harm reduction programs and policies designed to reduce drug-related harm for people who may be currently using drugs and are unable to stop using.

Ottawa Inner City Health aims to contribute to ending homelessness in the community by providing health care and improving the quality of life for people who are chronically homeless. This includes offering harm reduction services related to alcohol and drug use.

The DRUG USERS ADVOCACY LEAGUE (DUAL) is an independent group of drug consumers, ex-consumer and their allies who fight for the rights of those that use drugs, and our community, in the Ottawa area. DUAL works to eliminate the stigma that drug users face and to ensure the safety of those who consume drugs.

• 6:30pm: Welcome Reception (light refreshments will be served)
• 7pm: Harm Reduction Presentations and Q&A with OICH/DUAL
• 8pm: Meet and Greet with Guest Speakers

(Session présentée en anglais, questions/réponses dans les deux langues officielles)
